Race Management Company's Inflatable Start and Finish Line Pulls Double Duty
Race event management companyTritofinish had a problem: too many race participants. Getting everyone through a narrow starting line arch was causing delays and frustration, so they turned to Landmark Creations for a larger inflatable start and finish line — and got more than they expected.
"We needed a large arch as a start line (and sometimes finish line) for large-scale running races," says Race Director Andy Brady, and they chose Landmark based on recommendations from other event coordinators. The vibrant green, blue, and white arch draws the attention of race participants, and provides milling crowds with a clear focal point, so it's been a great addition to Tritofinish's toolbox.
In addition, the arch is wide enough to span most roadways and park entrances. Race coordinators no longer have to worry that runners will face a bottleneck at the start of the race, or that they won't easily see where the start or finish lines are.
Surprisingly, though, the arch has had an even bigger impact than expected.
Not only does it make a spectacular starting line, but the arch serves as an eye-catching billboard as well. In fact, it's so easy to set up that the Tritofinish team takes it along to nearly every event. Participants enjoy using it as a photo backdrop, and event sponsors love the highly visible placement for banners and other branding.
