Landmarketing Issue 06 - Spring 2003

Stephanie Meacham

Welcome to Issue 06 of Landmarketing - Inflatable Marketing Ideas You Can Use

Spring has sprung and that always makes everyone at Landmark Creations happy! Warmer weather naturally draws people outdoors and that means it’s the perfect time for outdoor inflatable advertising.

To get you in the mood, we’re featuring several articles in this issue of Landmarketing to help you be prepared for the flood of new customers you’ll receive when you promote with inflatables. Look for a handy chart that will help you select the best inflatable for your particular needs. You can also find helpful care and maintenance tips for your helium-filled inflatables.

There’s tons ‘o fun to be had, too! We have a great Easter game for you, direct from Dino our mascot, and (drum roll, please) a new photo contest where you can win big prizes just for sending in your pictures and inflatables success stories.
So let’s get on with it!

Inflatable Installer Spotlight – National Searchlight

The name “National Searchlight” seems rather self-explanatory. After all, they do - in fact - rent lights. However, they also install inflatables… a natural fit with their business since both lights and inflatables are practically guaranteed to draw a crowd. When you need to have an inflatable installed in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, or virtually anywhere else in the Gulf Coast area, National Searchlight can answer the call.

Effectively Choosing the Inflatable That's Right for You

Making the decision to include inflatables in your marketing mix is definitely a step in the right direction. However, many people mistakenly believe that all inflatables are huge, fan-driven, balloons that must be used outdoors or in very large indoor arenas. This is simply not true. So, how do you choose the right one for your events?

Care and Maintenance of Helium Inflatables

When working with helium-filled inflatables, it’s important to keep several basic tips in mind. With proper care and maintenance, your helium inflatables will give you lots of use down the road.

“Discover Great Landmarks” Photo Contest

We want to feature you on our site! Have you had great success using your Landmark Creations inflatables? Have you exceeded your marketing or sales goals during a promotion? Have you come up with a creative new way to use inflatables? We want to know about it.

Wishing you success,

Sincerely,

Stephanie Meacham

What Others Say About Landmark Creations

"I liked the way Tom listened and shared his ideas with me so that I could use the canyon like I needed. Tom hit a home run with my model. His input made all the difference in the world"

- Laurie Henry, Trinity Science Solutions LLC

"Our Landmark Creations blast tunnel made for an incredible night and it was exeremley well received by the players, coaches and fans. Thanks to you and your team for a first class effort. Regards."

- Glenn Mastro, Watchung Hills Warriors Touchdown Club

“This has created tremendous buzz around town and we have received a great deal of compliments on the Big Tire. Exposure is my goal, and the inflatable does that better than anyone, including me, can do at these events. The Big Tire never takes a break, gets tired or has to take a call. It just keeps shining bright and the kids love it.”

- Ed Chaney, Ed Chaney Tire Center Inc.

"Just wanted to say how much we LOVE our inflatables.  We tested them in our lobby where they were, of course, an instant hit for school group photos. Our leadership was quite pleased with the durability and the realism."

- Mike Hennessy, Carnegie Science Center

"Our tunnel was also a great addition to our pre-game tradition: the Wildcat walk. Our city shuts down three blocks of downtown, and we have hundreds of fans lining the streets with a police escort, while we walk to the stadium."

- Sam Baker, Head Football Coach at Waconia High School

"[The logo] helped us create a better presence, improved foot traffic, became a photo backdrop and helped us have the best-looking booth at the events,"

- Laura Repreza, KTLM Telemundo 40
