Landmarketing Issue 41 - Spring 2012

Landmark Creations Minnesota OfficeWelcome to Landmarketing Spring 2012 Edition!

Welcome to my favorite time of the year.  It's sunny, but not too hot. There are more daylight hours to enjoy and all the inflatables come out to play.

Spring and summer are traditionally the best times for inflatables as you can see by the increase in mobile marketing events. Are your inflatables ready for a busy season?  If not, check out this spring-cleaning article for a few tips.

You're not the only one on the move this time of year. I'm attending the MN AMA conference "Beyond the Buzz" Thursday (May 17th). If you're in the area, stop by and say hi to me and Landmark's new Marketing Assistant, Caitlin.

On another note, we've also got several stops on the "Landmark on Location" schedule for this summer so stay tuned for new videos.

For now, sink your teeth into this long list of case studies that are sure to give you LOTS of excellent ideas for your upcoming events.

HOW OTHERS ARE USING CUSTOM INFLATABLES > CASE STUDIES:

SUPERHERO SCRAMBLE Archway

SUPERHERO SCRAMBLE SupportsTroops with Inflatable Archway & Slime

Yes, you read that right… slime. Did we mention superhero costumes? While it's certainly not your typical charity race, the SUPERHERO SCRAMBLE might just well be the most creative we've seen in a long time.

MS Society Arch

Multiple Sclerosis Society Uses Inflatable Archway in Two Annual Events

Every year, the MS Society of Mid-Florida hosts two events: Bike MS and Walk MS. As successful as these races have been, the Society felt they needed a way to hype up the crowds, participants and sponsors.

Colon Cancer Alliance Inflatable

Strategic Partnership Leads to Greater Awareness of Colorectal Cancer

We must say, we didn't think our custom inflatable colon replicas would become nearly as popular as they have. While we're always excited about success, the inflatable colon holds a different kind of pride.

Vans Inflatable Snowboard Boot

Inflatable Product Replica Takes Center Stage at the VANS Canada Hi-Standard Snowboard Event

Ski masks. Shredding. Rippers. It sounds like something out of a "Friday the 13th" movie. In reality, all these could be found at the VANS Canada youth snowboard event.

Stroud's Barbeque Inflatable Logo

Inflatable Logo Helps Stroud's Barbeque Stand Out in a Crowd

Sean Stroud, owner of Stroud's Barbeque in Tennessee, knew he needed something to help improve sales at events like fairs and festivals.

JewelryTools.com Blimp

Helium Blimp is a Real Crowd Pleaser at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show

Mark Ryan and Alec Day of JewelryTools.com had a problem. They were headed for the largest gem show in the United States, the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, and needed a way for customers to find their tent in a sea of similar displays.

MS Society NYC Inflatable Arch

The NYC MS Society Celebrates Walk MS in Style with an Inflatable Arch

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a debilitating disease that strikes countless people across our country every year. With the help of the National MS Society, patients can find all manner of help to keep moving forward with their lives.

Ronald McDonald House Archway

Ronald McDonald House 5K Racers Start & Finish with an Inflatable Archway

The House That Love Builtâ„¢ took up residence in Baltimore, MD, about one year ago. As families pass in and out of its doorway, you'll see faces full of tears and smiles. The tears can sometimes be bittersweet. Many, however, are shed as a show of sheer gratitude for the enormous help the Ronald McDonald House provides to children who are undergoing treatment at local hospitals.
