Landmarketing Issue 61 - Spring 2018

L5766 Katy Perry Lion HeadLandmark's in the News!

From Rockefeller Center to rock concert tours, Landmark's custom inflatables are taking center stage. And the trade publishing world is applauding.

In its August 2017 issue, Specialty Fabrics Review spotlighted "Seated Ballerina," a stunning inflatable sculpture installed at New York's Rockefeller Plaza between May 12 and June 2, 2017. Designed by artist Jeff Koons and built by Landmark Creations, the 45-foot "Ballerina" was authentic in every detail, right down to her tutu and toe shoes. Best of all, she helped raise funds (and awareness) for the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children.

Then, in January 2018, Lighting & Sound America showcased an inflatable stage prop – a giant geometric lion head – built by Landmark Creations for iconic pop singer Katy Perry's 2014-2015 Prismatic World Tour. Featured during Perry's performance of her hit song "Roar," the custom inflatable blazed with spectacular LED lighting – including huge, luminous eyes – remote-controlled for thrilling effect.
